colors that make it hard to read. For example, you
don't want dark blue letters on a black background.
People want to save time. They may want to
work less and spend time enjoying life's pleasures.
This will make them feel more relaxed. For example,
you could install a time-saving navigation bar on
your web site. This will save them time when they
are browsing or searching through your web site.
Publish a picture of yourself in your ad. This will
show people that you're not hiding behind your web
site and you're not afraid to back up your product.
For example, it could be a picture of you using the
product you're selling. Another example, it could be

Imagine....
Most people are curious about things that could
affect their current lifestyle. You could use words
like "Secret" or "Confidential" in your ad. For
example, you could say "If you order before June 24,
2002, you will also get a Secret Mystery Gift valued
at $200!"
Get your prospects to imagine agreeing with themselves.
People usually tend to agree with themselves. You can
ask them questions in your ad copy so that they will
agree with themselves and, at the same time, persuade
them to buy your product. Examples: You are a smart
business person, aren't you? You know when you see a
good opportunity, don't you? You want your business to
be successful, don't you? You know that when you
purchase our product, it will make your job easier,
don't you?
Lead your prospects to imagine modeling themselves after
someone they admire. People tend to follow and model other
people. If people read a testimonial, they will read how
the person benefited from buying your product. They will
model themselves after the person and buy the product
because they feel they will gain the same benefits.
Condition your prospects to imagine having a good time.
Use a little humor in your ad copy; it could be the
little extra motivation that will sell your product.
People usually tend to be persuaded easier if they're
in a good mood or even laughing. You could use jokes,
